If the IRS approves the Foundation’s application, contributions made after the date of incorporation are generally expected to be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

How are funds used?

All funds are used exclusively to support Glen Ellyn’s Independence Day parade, fireworks display, family activities, and related community programming.

The parade and fireworks are entirely funded by community contributions and sponsorships.

• Gold – $1,500
• Silver – $1,000

Will I receive a donation receipt?

Yes. All donors will receive written acknowledgment of their contribution. For contributions of $250 or more, a formal written acknowledgment compliant with IRS requirements will be provided.


Can I make an anonymous donation?

Yes. Donors may request anonymity, and the Foundation will honor that request in promotional materials where feasible.
