Glen Ellyn 4th of July 2019 Parade Application Forms

The Glen Ellyn 4th of July Committee is an independent organization of volunteers who plan the events surrounding the 4th of July festivities. The Parade is staged to optimize a reflection on our Independence and to honor those who serve, as well as for Glen Ellyn community enjoyment.

The Committee invites community and local school groups to complete Parade applications online.  The applications will be available in February and close on June 1st each year.  We encourage honor guards, first responders, uniformed representation, musical/band groups, local school representation, and patriotic themed floats to apply.

There are a limited number of spaces available, so early application for the Parade is highly recommended.

There is no guarantee of space availability and entry into the parade is by Committee invitation and acceptance of application.

The parade steps off at 12:00pm on July 4th and is approximately 1½ hours long.  Each year, the Committee votes on a Parade Theme that you can use in your decorating plans.  If your application has been accepted, look for an email mid-June detailing your staging placement and other important parade information.  If you have questions or need more information please email

Applications for July 4th, 2020 will open in February of 2020.
We are in the process of planning placement of the entries along the route.
Applicants will be receiving emails containing maps and other information in the next couple of weeks.
